Dear Parents/Guardians and Patrons,

The purpose of this letter is to provide information/resources that will help you prepare for your child to begin a new school year. On the following page is a suggested list of instructional items/school supplies our students will use in their grade during the 2024-2025 school year.

NOTICE: The items on this list will be used during the regular school day. These items may be brought from home on a voluntary basis, otherwise, they will be furnished by the school. A student may be required to replace supplies provided by the school which are lost, wasted, or damaged by the student through careless or irresponsible behavior.

We welcome any/all donations (supplies and/or $) on behalf of our students! All donations we receive will be utilized during the regular school day, during instructional activities. Monetary/cash donations may be used to help us fund field-trips and/or other learning activities we feel are important in helping our students grow and develop and to purchase instructional resources for our students. Monetary/cash donations in any amount under $250 may be mailed/dropped off to the school office. Donations over $250 must run through the Weber School Foundation for tax-related purposes. When donating to the Weber School Foundation, indicate you’d like the donation to benefit Pioneer Elementary and your student’s grade.

• Fine black expo markers

• 1 inch 3 ring binder

• Wide ruled sprial notebook

• Sharp point scissors

• 1 bag pre-wrapped candy or packet of stickers (optional)

• 1 container Clorox/Lysol wipes 

• 1 roll of paper towels 

• 1 package sticky notes 

• Ziplock baggies gallon or quart size (optional)

• Superintendent’s summer reading form (read 10 books or 1,000 pages) 

• Superintendent’s Math form. 

• $5 donation for the classroom (optional, please turn in to the office)  

•  1 Ream (500 sheets) of copy paper 

•  1 Package of pencil top erasers 

•  12 Pencils 

• Bandaids

• Ear Buds or head phone 

Please label all items marked with an *

Do not bring any unnecessary supplies such as markers, gel pens, pencil sharpeners, rulers, etc. We have pencil boxes for all of the students ready and filled!  If additional items are needed a note will be sent home. We are thrilled to have your child in 3rd grade!
