Kindergarteners sing for the Veterans

The last two weeks have been a patriotic celebration for our Kindergarteners! On April 24th, students proudly drove their homemade “Kindy 500” cars around the school while visiting famous American figures including the Statue of Liberty, Abraham Lincoln, and Betsy Ross. After learning all about these important symbols of American history, the students performed patriotic songs for family and friends before participating in the exciting Kindy 500 parade.

The spreading of American pride did not end there! On April 30th, our Kindergarteners took a special trip to the George E. Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home where they sang “God Bless the USA” along with several other patriotic songs for the Veterans.

Their performances brought smiles to many faces as they honored and thanked those who have served our country. We are so proud of our Kindergarten students and teachers for representing our school with such kindness, enthusiasm, and patriotism!
